Neymar tipped to smash Pogba transfer record in 2017 with Man Utd and Man City favourites

Barcelona winger Neymar could overtake Paul Pogba as the most expensive player in world football next year, with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City the favourites to sign him, according to Ladbrokes.

The betting company are offering odds of 4/1 for Neymar to become the most expensive signing of all time by the end of the 2017 summer transfer window, while he is 7/1 to sign for any Premier League club in the same timeframe.

Manchester City and Manchester United are both at odds of 12/1 to sign Neymar next summer, while it is 20/1 that the Brazil international will depart Barcelona in January.




It is 33/1 that Neymar will make the seemingly improbable switch to join Barcelona’s La Liga adversaries Real Madrid.

Ladbrokes are also offering odds of 33/1 that the 24-year-old will become the most expensive signing of all time by the end of the January 2017 transfer window.


Meanwhile, Neymar is now 50/1 to join any Premier League club by the end of the January 2017 transfer window.
