MFM's Monsuru targets Sunshine win

The Olukoya Boys were well beaten by Sai Masu Gida on matchday 25, and the defender is hoping to erase that loss by collecting three points against the Owena Whales.

MFM FC's Monsuru Bashiru urges his teammates to return to winning ways when they face Sunshine Stars on Wednesday.
The Olukoya Boys suffered a 3-1 defeat at the Sani Abacha Stadium to Kano Pillars last week.
And Bashiru wants his side to erase the memories of that loss with a victory over the Owena Whales in midweek.
"When you are winning, everything takes care of itself. But you have to earn the right to win. You can't just walk out there and do it," Monsuru told Goal.
"We will now look to go out and win against Sunshine Stars. A loss like what we encountered at Pillars is always on the back of your mind but you have to move on. In football, you get the chance to do it.
"The fixtures at the home bend is favourable to us. We have two consecutive games in front of our fans. If we can pick six points, that will serve us better in our bid to win the league title.
MFM have dropped to third in the NPFL standings, five points behind leaders Plateau United.
