OFFICIAL: Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart joins West Ham United on loan

OFFICIAL: Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart joins Premier League rival West Ham United on a season-long loan. The Hammers have the option of making the deal permanent next summer.

Born and raised in Shrewsbury, England, Joe Hart joined hometown Shrewsbury Town at the age of 15. After impressing for Shrewsbury in 2005/06 season when he was selected in PFA League Two Team of the Year, Hart was recruited by Manchester City and made his Premier League debut in October, 2006, keeping a clean sheet against Sheffield United.
Hart then had loan spells at Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool and Birmingham City, before returing to Man City and securing his status as first Choice goalkeeper for the Manchester club.
From 2010 to 2016, Hart had been the undisputed number 1 goalkeeper for Man City, claiming 2 Premier League titles, 2 League Cup titiles and 1 FA Cup title. He is also England's first-choice goalkeeper.
However, ever since Pep Guardiola became City's manager after 2015/16 season, Hart's future became unclear as Guardiola believed the goalkeeper does not have enough foot skills to apply his tiki-taka philosophy.
Hart was loaned to Serie A club Torino last season and now would join West Ham on loan.
